Kaprun

Skiing and snowboarding - 138km of slopes are waiting for you!

The vast Zell am See-Kaprun skiing area is perfectly suited for professional skiers / snowboarders and beginners alike. Both the Schmittenhöhe and the Kitzsteinhorn promise pure skiing enjoyment on diverse ski slopes in the midst of snowy mountain landscapes. The Schmitten & Maiskogel are the perfect location for skiing families.

Kaprun is a village not far from the well-known resort of Zell am See in the Salzburg province of Austria.
The two resorts are combined in one tourist office administrative area and both bring advantages to the co-operation. Zell am See has the international name and brand, while Kaprun can boast one of the main glacier - and thus snow-sure - ski resorts closest to the eastern part of the country.
The settlement itself is a pleasant large village without the hustle and bustle of downtown Zell am See - many visitors are attracted by precisely those qualities...
