Nestling between the Kitzbuehler Horn and the Wild Kaiser mountains lies the family winter paradise of Oberndorf in Tyrol, and very well known for fits riendly hospitality. This picturesque village offers alpine skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, snow hiking and much more. The northern side of the Kitzbuehel Horn, where winter snow is a certainty, offers Skiing fun for young and old for all difficulty levels that are both extensive and never overrun.

The pretty cross country skiing routes in the valley are as treasured by ski hikers as they are by cross country skiers, with the Oberdorf cross country skiing routes stretching over 25 kilometres and also connecting to the 275 kilometre long network of cross country skiing routes across the 'Kitzbüheler Alpen' region, which is made up of 5 ski regions with a total of 704 kilometres of piste. You will also find illuminated toboggan runs which provide a lot of fun well into the night, and time will fly by at the merry curling parties, as well as the chance for visitors to take a trip in a horse drawn carriage and discover their surrounding fairytale environs. Fun and action will also be found on the Oberndorf outdoors menu when driving a Ski-Doo snowmobile throughout the valley.
