The Czech Republic's largest and most popular ski resort
This is the largest resort in the Czech Republic, located just 2.5 hours north of Prague in the heart of the Krkonose the 'Giant Mountains'. The two major ski areas are Svaty Petr (Saint Peter) and Medvedin, situated on each side of the village approximately 1.5 kilometres apart. A Free ski shuttle buses connect the two ski areas.
You will find excellent skiing for intermediates and beginners as well as many important world sporting events including the European Cup. You will also find in Spindleruv Mlyn a lot of restaurants, ski and snowboard schools, indoor swimming pools, bowling, bobsleigh track, discos and daily night skiing on the ski slope Hromovka with a new and faster four-chair cableway.
