Stans
Stans is a comfortable holiday resort at the foot of the Karwendel mountain chain.
At Stans, there is much to see: the Sacred Heart church (Herz Jesu) has been constructed in Roman-Catholic style between 1884 and 1896, reference for the altar of this church was the altar of the Brussels church. The Laurentius church, however, was built at 1510 in Roman style and has once been a popular pilgrimage site. S. Laurentius is also depicted on the emblem of Stans - the grid illustrated on the left side of the emblem are his hallmarks.
Go out the door, strap on your skis and go - you can enjoy the best days of the year according to this motto in Stans, at the ski oasis in the middle of the village. Very modern snow-making equipment ensures that the use of the ski lifts and the snowpark is guaranteed from the middle of December until spring.
